About The Position
The Nurse Aid in the MED / SURG / Telemetry Department is an unlicensed assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Monroe Hospital is a 32-bed community hospital in Bloomington, Indiana, and is part of Prime Healthcare.
Requirements
- Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
Nice To Haves
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- At least six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office.
Responsibilities
