About The Position

PCAs serve in the role of Nursing Assistants, providing direct patient care support on the units. Requirements

  • High School or equivalency certificate is required.
  • Current BLS or CPR Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of 1 year of Nursing Assistant experience in an Acute In-Patient setting is preferred.
  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly assist with patient care, including vital sign monitoring and recording measurements in patients’ charts
  • Provide Ambulatory Support to patients, assisting with walking, showers, and other prescribed therapies.
