Requirements

  • Graduated from a state-approved nursing program.
  • Currently awaiting certification or in the process of certification.
  • Ability to lift and move residents, assist with personal hygiene, and provide emotional support.
  • Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures in a healthcare setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in long-term care or assisted living.
  • Knowledge of infection control procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the nursing team to provide care to residents.
  • Work closely with the nursing team to ensure the residents’ physical and emotional needs are met, providing comfort, safety, and dignity.
  • Observe and report any changes in the residents' health or condition to the supervising nurse.
