Nursing Assistant Medical Inpatient Telemetry FT Nights
About The Position
Seeking a Nursing Assistant for the 3AC Medical Inpatient Innovation Unit at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a full-time (36 hours weekly) night position (7pm-7am) and is benefit eligible. The Nursing Assistant, under general supervision and according to established procedures, functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks. The Innovation Unit is a 44-bed medical-surgical unit that pilots new ideas for the hospital and cares for a wide range of medical diagnoses and conditions.
Requirements
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required
- High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide delegated aspects of patient care.
- Perform routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.
