About The Position

The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the patient during the scheduled work period. The NA provides patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This role is great for nursing students, CNAs, or anyone seeking work in patient care who wishes to gain experience and refine skills. Sanford Health is seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to provide high-quality care to our patients. You will work under the supervision of nursing staff to create a warm and welcoming environment that fosters healing and positivity.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
  • If working in North Dakota (ND) or Minnesota (MN) and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, must be on the NA Registry as a Nursing Assistant through the North Dakota Dept. of Health or through the Minnesota Dept. of Health within four months from the date of hire.
  • If working in Wisconsin, must be on the Wisconsin Nurse Aid Registry with current work eligibility.
