About The Position

Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to unlicensed nursing support staff, along with additional specific functions for which the Nursing Assistant has been prepared. Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities. Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program, or current nursing student status with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation. A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• One year of experience in a Nursing Assistant role is preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification is preferred.
