About The Position

The Nursing Assistant assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to unlicensed nursing support staff, along with additional specific functions for which the Nursing Assistant has been prepared. The role incorporates the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities and is accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities. This position is based at Jeanes Campus in the CCU and is listed as a 36-hour night-shift role, with hours of 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program, or current nursing student status with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation; a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of the stated education requirement.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a Nursing Assistant role.
• Certified Nursing Assistant credential.
