The Intermediate Care Unit is a fast-paced, 30-bed surgical specialty unit focused on patient-centered care and multidisciplinary collaboration. It cares for complex surgical and medical patients, including people recovering from vascular, thoracic, and open-heart procedures, as well as cardiac and respiratory patients who require advanced monitoring. The Nursing Assistant supports professional nurses and caregivers in delivering patient care, transporting patients and equipment, preparing and maintaining patient rooms, and replenishing supplies.
