About The Position

Munson Healthcare is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patients and clinical staff as an essential member of the care team. The role provides basic patient care and services that meet patients’ personal and comfort needs in a safe, supportive environment.

Requirements

• Obtain and maintain CPR certification in adult maneuvers at all times; child and infant maneuvers may be required by some departments.
• May be required to lift more than 35 pounds.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care and services related to patients’ personal and comfort needs.
• Complete personal hygiene care.
• Collect specimens.
• Assist patients with daily walking and exercise.
• Transport patients between departments.
• Observe, report, and record patients’ vital signs.
