About The Position
Join a Magnet®-recognized Nursing team at Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip as we expand into a new era of patient care with our recently opened state-of-the-art Patient Care Pavilion—a 300,000 sq. ft. facility featuring private rooms, advanced surgical suites, and a transformative Emergency Department.
Requirements
- Completion of Nursing Assistant program, BOCES or Military Hospital Corps School or equivalent with current New York State CNA certification or completion of a Nursing fundamentals course or equivalent within a RN program or a minimum of 1 year experience working as a Nursing Assistant.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of safety and infection control practices.
- Knowledge of computer systems and/or prior clerical experience required.
- BLS provider certification from the American Heart Association. No online programs from any organization will be accepted.
