About The Position
Our team is dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care to our diverse patient population. We value our Nursing Assistants as crucial members of our healthcare team, committed to enhancing the well-being of every patient. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering quality nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses. You will assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of individualized nursing care plans, addressing the physical, psychological and spiritual needs of our patients. Your role will also involve coordinating patient appointments, communicating with patients both on the phone and in person and performing various clerical tasks. This position may be required to provide assistance and support at other organizational sites, including but not limited to Long Prairie, Melrose, and Paynesville, as operational needs dictate. Travel between locations may be required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required within 30 days of employment
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized nursing care plans.
- Address the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of patients.
- Coordinate patient appointments.
