NURSING ASSISTANT 4A Med Surg 24 Hr Day Flex (7am-7:30pm) Jeanes Campus
About The Position
TUH-Jeanes Campus, in Northeast Philadelphia, offers a unique combination: advanced medical and surgical services in a convenient, easy-to-access community setting. A member of Temple Health, TUH-Jeanes Campus has many services that are typically only found at downtown hospitals, including advanced cardiac, neurologic and orthopedic surgery. TUH-Jeanes Campus' experienced doctors and dedicated staff offer patients access to many of the latest treatments and diagnostics, while never losing sight of its commitment to providing a compassionate, personal touch. Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared. Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities. Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation
- Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- 1 year experience in a Nursing Assistant role
- Basic Life Support

Responsibilities
