Nursing Assistant Medical Inpatient Telemetry PT Days
About The Position
We are seeking a Nursing Assistant for the 3AC Medical Inpatient Innovation Unit at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a part-time position (24 hours weekly) with day shifts (7 am-7 pm) and is benefit-eligible. The Nursing Assistant functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse, providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks. The Innovation Unit is a 44-bed medical-surgical unit that pilots new ideas for the hospital and cares for a wide range of medical diagnoses and conditions.
Requirements
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required
- High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide delegated aspects of patient care.
- Perform routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.
