Nursing Assistant - Med/Surg
About The Position
We are seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to be a supportive partner with Registered Nurses on an inpatient Medical Surgical unit and provide care to both medical and surgical patients. You will provide direct physical care and basic nursing procedures and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. This includes assisting with activities of daily living, repositioning, transfers, patient mobility, intentional rounding, and performing 12 lead ECGs. You will also interact and engage with visitors, patients, and their family members to establish a trusting relationship to provide high quality care. Requirements
- Listed on the State of Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry Upon Hire Required
- Certified Medication Aide (CMA) or Trained Medication Aide (TMA) Upon Hire Required
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or GED Preferred
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care facility Preferred
