About The Position
Make a difference during the moments when patients need support most. Join the Observation Unit at UF Health Leesburg Hospital as a Nursing Assistant and provide the hands-on care, comfort and support that helps patients feel safe and cared for throughout their stay. This is an acute patient care position. You would be responsible for maintaining safety, taking vital signs and blood glucose levels, supportive collaboration with patients, families, and colleagues, and activities of daily living to support health recovery, on a patient care unit under the direction of a registered nurse, charge nurse, and nurse manager. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- BLS required
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Nice To Haves
- Post-high-school specialized training preferred
- Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred
Responsibilities
