Nursing Assistant Pre Op Surgery PRN
About The Position
Seeking a Pre Op Surgery Nursing Assistant for a PRN (as needed) position. Shifts and days vary. This role is located at Baptist Health Floyd in the Pre OP Surgery department, serving the Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area. The Nursing Assistant, under general supervision and according to established procedures, functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse. Responsibilities include providing delegated aspects of patient care and performing routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks. This is an opportunity to work in a Regional, Non-Profit, Community Hospital with an excellent working environment and an organization that promotes continued education.
Requirements
- High school diploma/equivalent or Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) preferred
- BLS certification from approved BLS course required (training will be provided)
Responsibilities
- Provide delegated aspects of patient care under the direction of the nurse.
- Perform routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.
