About The Position

Join AAESC/HRESC as a Nursing Assistant, where you will support high-quality surgical care by providing direct patient assistance throughout their visit to the Surgery Center. In this role, you’ll work closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff to maintain a safe, organized, and patient-centered environment. You will play an essential part in patient monitoring, documentation, equipment coordination, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to excellent surgical outcomes while supporting a collaborative, team-driven care environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with basic patient care training
  • Receives on-the-job training and competency verification for primary functions

Nice To Haves

  • One to three years of experience preferred
  • Formal nurse’s aide or medical technician training preferred

Responsibilities

  • Monitor patients, record vital signs, and document relevant clinical information
  • Transport patients safely and support basic patient education and discharge instructions
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of care areas, including equipment cleaning and supply stocking
  • Operate and assist with maintaining patient monitoring systems and designated equipment
  • Perform clerical tasks such as answering phones, taking messages, filing, and supporting workflow organization
  • Support smooth daily operations by assisting the clinical team with workflow coordination and patient flow
