About The Position
Seeking a Nursing Assistant for the 2D Neuro unit at Baptist Health Floyd. This full-time position (36 hours weekly) involves providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks under the direction of a nurse. The 2D Neuro unit specializes in high-quality care for adult patients with various neuroscience diagnoses, including strokes, TIAs, seizures, and other central nervous system disorders. As a certified Primary Stroke Center, the unit is recognized for its state-of-the-art stroke care and neuroscience nursing excellence. The role operates within a collaborative and supportive environment, working closely with an interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
- High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide delegated aspects of patient care.
- Perform routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.
- Function as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse.
