About The Position
Seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Progressive Care Unit at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a full-time position (36 hours weekly) with night shifts (7pm-7am) and is benefit eligible. The Nursing Assistant functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse, providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks. The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is a 32-bed intermediate level of care unit, specializing in cardiovascular care but encountering a variety of diagnoses. It is a great environment to cultivate assessment skills while managing drips and specialized procedures, working closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide care for a high acuity-based population.
Requirements
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
- High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
