Nursing Assistant - Float Pool; 0.8FTE; PM Shift
About The Position
The Nursing Assistant (CNA) practices and performs basic nursing assistant procedures as taught during their outside training and certification program. The CNA is expected to practice medical asepsis, respect the dignity and privacy of every patient, maintain objectivity during patient care, adhere to basic hospital safety policies and procedures, and practice within their scope of training. The CNA works under the close supervision of the Registered Nurse. The CNA receives specific work assignments that are both written and oral with the expectation to complete the work assignment within their scheduled shift. At UnityPoint Health, you matter. Requirements
- State of Wisconsin certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Currently CPR certified or eligible for certification
- Must be available the first week of employment from 8AM - 4:30PM for CNA orientation.
