Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice To Haves

1+ years of prior Nursing Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience.
CNA certification.

Responsibilities

Provides essential, hands-on daily care to patients, working under the supervision of RNs to ensure patient comfort, safety, and hygiene.
Provides basic nursing care to the patient.
Assists nursing personnel and physicians in emergency care.
Accepts responsibility for providing safe, appropriate, quality patient care.
Performs out of bed/back to bed as appropriate.
Observes patient while performing delegated tasks and reports significant findings regarding patient safety, personal needs, and changes in the patient's condition to the licensed nurse.
Responds to call light promptly and courteously.
Maintains confidentiality of patient record.
Assists patient in wheelchair, on stretcher, and ambulating.
Monitors vital signs, specimen collection, intake and output, meal consumption, height and weight, blood glucose testing/monitoring, and point of care testing.
