Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Must be 18 or turn 18 by the end of the class

Nice To Haves

• Dementia Care: Experience in providing specialized care for patients with dementia
• Memory Care: Knowledge of techniques and strategies for assisting patients with memory loss
• Medical Records: Proficiency in maintaining accurate and organized medical records
• Medical Documentation: Ability to accurately document patient information and medical procedures

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
• Assisting with mobility and transferring patients
• Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
• Assisting with meal preparation and feeding
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients
• Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate medical records
