The Nursing Assistant plays a key supportive role in delivering safe, compassionate, and efficient care to patients undergoing ophthalmic surgical procedures in a high-volume ambulatory surgery center (ASC). Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), the Nursing Assistant assists with patient preparation, mobility, hygiene, and monitoring, contributing to a positive patient experience and smooth clinical workflow. This role involves working collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff to ensure patient safety, infection control compliance, and high standards of care in preoperative, intraoperative, and post-anesthesia recovery phases.
