About The Position

This position offers on-the-job training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) with no prior experience required. The primary purpose of this role is to participate in the basic nursing care of patients from admission through discharge and to perform non-nursing functions. Non-nursing duties include performing CNA duties, keeping rooms clean and stocked, and performing clerical duties as assigned. This position reports to the nurses, Charge Nurse, and Director of Nursing.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Ability to earn certification while working full time.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the basic nursing care of the patient from admission through discharge.
• Perform non-nursing functions.
• Keep rooms clean and stocked.
• Perform clerical duties as assigned.
