About the Team Our medical department is dedicated to helping our clients improve their lives through a coordinated approach to care involving clients, their caregivers, their clinical staff, and primary care providers. The Certified Nursing Assistants work as members of the medical/nursing team to provide care to a mentally ill population. What You’ll Do Clinical Duties: Assist with patient intake, including vital signs, height/weight, and health history updates Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Support providers during patient visits as needed Observe and report changes in patient condition to clinical staff Assist with specimen collection and basic lab procedures (if applicable) Maintain clean, safe, and organized exam rooms Support behavioral health patients with appropriate sensitivity and confidentiality Reinforce care plans and patient education under provider direction Behavioral Health Support Duties: Help maintain a calm, safe, and therapeutic environment Support patients during check-in and rooming, especially those who may be in distress Communicate effectively with behavioral health providers regarding patient needs Follow protocols for safety and crisis situations Administrative Duties: Assist with scheduling, appointment reminders, and follow-ups Support patient check-in/check-out processes Maintain accurate and timely EHR documentation Help manage phone calls, messages, and care coordination tasks Assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and coordination of care Monitor and restock clinical and office supplies Support clinic policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Good To Know Position is based in Fairbanks, Alaska Full-Time, Non-Exempt  Pay Range: $21.50 - $26.25 depending on experience. Eligible for up to $7,200 in incentive with the average being $2,600 Student Loan Repayment and Tuition Assistance is Available – Professional Growth is encouraged! Requirements

  • You have a High School Diploma or GED and are a CNA license, CPR and First Aid
  • You are comfortable with EMR usage and are a fast learner with computer programs
