Provides direct patient care under the direction of Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses through the nursing process according to the established policies, procedures, and guidelines of the department and hospital. Has knowledge of assigned tasks and equipment necessary to meet the specific needs of the patient population served. Delivers direct patient care under the direction of the registered nurse. Responds to the demands of changing patient acuity in a positive effectiveness. Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for continuous improvement. Practices quality service as evidenced through QI results and patient satisfaction.
