About The Position
Seeking a Nursing Assistant/Unit Secretary for Baptist Health Floyd's Intensive Care Unit. This is a part-time position (24 hours weekly) with night shifts (7pm-7am) and is benefit eligible. The role involves functioning as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse, providing delegated aspects of patient care and performing routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks. The Intensive Care Unit is a 16-bed adult medical ICU that cares for critically ill patients with conditions such as stroke, sepsis, shock states with or without multi-organ failure, and respiratory failure.
Requirements
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
- Previous Nursing Assistant experience required.
- High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide delegated aspects of patient care under the direction of the nurse.
- Perform routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.
- Function as an on-shift team member.
