About The Position
Seeking a Nursing Assistant/Unit Secretary for the Intensive Care Unit at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a full-time position working 36 hours weekly on the night shift (7pm-7am). The role involves providing delegated aspects of patient care and performing routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks under the direction of the nurse. The Intensive Care Unit is a 16-bed adult medical ICU that cares for critically ill patients with conditions such as stroke, sepsis, shock states with or without multi-organ failure, and respiratory failure.
Requirements
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
- Previous Nursing Assistant experience required.
- High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.
Nice To Haves
- CNA preferred, not required.
Responsibilities
- Functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse.
- Provides delegated aspects of patient care.
- Performs routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.
