About The Position
A Great Place to Work Marlborough, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, is hiring an entry-level Nursing Assistant Trainee. The role provides hands-on training and mentorship under experienced healthcare professionals while the trainee attends classes, lab instruction, and clinical experiences to prepare for the Certified Nursing Assistant exam. Trainees learn fundamental nursing skills and assist with daily resident care in a long-term care setting. Requirements
- Interest in the nursing needs of aged and chronically ill people, and ability to work with both.
- Passion for healthcare and desire to learn and grow in a long-term care setting.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Participate in training programs to learn healthcare protocols and procedures.
- Learn and apply fundamental nursing skills under supervision.
- Assist nursing staff in providing daily care to residents.
- Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and grooming.
- Collaborate with the care team to support residents’ well-being.
- Attend class, lab instruction, and clinical experiences in preparation for the Certified Nursing Assistant exam.
