About The Position

Dover Center for Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Nursing Assistant Trainee (LNA) to join their team. This is an entry-level position that offers full-time pay while completing a 4-week course to become a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA). The program includes hands-on training, mentorship, class, lab instruction, and clinical experiences to prepare for the Certified Nursing Assistant exam. The goal is to provide essential skills in caring for residents under the guidance of experienced healthcare professionals. Upon successful completion of the course and obtaining the LNA license, the trainee will be promoted to LNA. Requirements

  • Must be able to commit to a full time course, (Monday - Friday / 8 hours a day) for 4 weeks.
  • Must have excellent attendance, reliable transportation, be consistently dependable.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, lift, work all day.
  • Need to have a good understanding of what an LNA does (full care / bathing / changing / bodily fluids etc…)
  • After graduation, must be able to work days, evenings, or overnights….and must cover 2 weekends per month.
  • Must commit to working in our Center for 1 year Full-time after getting LNA license.
  • There is a course fee payback requirement if required year is not met.

  • Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both

Responsibilities

  • Engage in training programs to gain knowledge of healthcare protocols and procedures
  • Learn and apply fundamental nursing skills under supervision
  • Assist nursing staff in providing daily care to residents
  • Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and grooming
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure the well-being of residents
