About The Position
The Nursing Assistant - Telemetry, under the direction/supervision of an RN, provides basic nursing care for an assigned group of patients. This vital patient care support role involves providing essential assistance and comfort to patients across various units including General Nursing, Special Care, Maternal Child (Labor and Delivery, Nursery, Pediatric), GI Lab, Chemical Dependent, Psychiatric, Emergency, and Surgical Services, ensuring they receive the best possible experience during their healthcare journey. The role requires completing established competencies within a designated introductory period.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care for assigned group of patients under the direction/supervision of an RN.
- Provide essential assistance and comfort to patients.
- Complete established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
