About The Position
Essentia Health Northern Pines Care Center is partnering with Advanced Minnesota to offer a free Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program. This program covers the full cost of education and the certification exam, allowing participants to earn income while training by providing indirect patient care. It's an opportunity to begin a rewarding career in healthcare with hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
Requirements
- No education required
- Must successfully complete the facility required training courses.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed professionals and direct care staff with personal care tasks based on individualized care plans to ensure residents’ comfort.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
- Assist with meal setup, water pass, and other basic personal care needs.
- Provide activities and exercise opportunities as assigned.
- Support residents with psychosocial needs and emotional well-being.
- Observe and promptly report any changes in residents’ conditions to supervisors.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with entrance screening and other duties as assigned.
