About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) to provide one-on-one care to individuals who have contributed to our nation's energy industry. This full-time position offers $21 per hour with weekly pay and is located in the Kennewick Area, with shifts from Wednesday to Saturday.

Requirements

• Current NAR license in accordance with Washington state regulations.
• Understanding of dementia-related behaviors, effective communication techniques, person-centered care, and strategies for managing confusion, agitation, and memory loss.
• Strong interpersonal and observation skills.
• Demonstrated patience, compassion, reliability, and the ability to recognize and report changes in physical condition, cognition, or behavior promptly.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, eating mobility.
• Promote dignity, comfort, and independence.
• Ensure safety and supervision by monitoring for wandering, falls, confusion, and other safety risks.
• Maintain a calm, structured environment and promptly report any changes in condition to the nurse.
• Support communication and emotional well-being using patience, reassurance, and simple, clear communication to reduce anxiety.
• Encourage engagement in meaningful activities.
• Build trust with the client and family.
