Nursing Assistant - PeriOperative
About The Position
Join our team as a full-time Nursing Assistant, where you'll collaborate closely with our nursing team to deliver exceptional patient care! This role performs basic patient care tasks under Registered Nurse supervision; vital sign monitoring, blood glucose testing, and assisting with personal care needs. You'll support patient nutrition, transport blood products, conduct EKGs and venipuncture, and maintain unit cleanliness and organization. Additionally, you'll provide administrative support, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and actively participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Positivity, a great work ethic, and the ability to learn
- BLS certification required; can be obtained upon hire
Nice To Haves
- Nursing assistant or patient care experience is a plus
- CNA certification preferred
