Under the direction/supervision of an RN, provides basic nursing care for assigned group of patients. This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. Resolute Baptist Hospital offers a full range of comprehensive healthcare, including emergency services, cardiology and cardiovascular care, orthopedics, primary care, rehabilitation services, Womens Health, Labor & Delivery / Obstetrics, Neonatal and the areas only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Requirements
- Clinically competent nursing staff for General Nursing Units (cares for patients from age 15 years to maturity).
- Clinically competent nursing staff for Special Care Areas (cares for patients from age 15 years through adult with high risk conditions).
- Staff clinically competent in maternity care for Maternal Child Units: Labor and Delivery (care includes patients who have a pregnancy related condition).
- Clinically competent staff for Nursery (care includes care for newborn until discharge status).
- Clinically competent staff for Pediatric (provides care to patients from neonate through age of eighteen).
- Clinically competent staff for GI Lab Unit (cares for toddlers, beginning age 24 months, through adult).
- Clinically competent nursing staff for Chemical Dependent Unit and Psychiatric Unit (cares for adult patients and family with holistic approach to emotional problems).
- Clinically competent staff in pediatric and high-risk adult care for Emergency Unit (provides care to presenting patients of all ages).
- Provides care to patients from neonate to geriatric in Surgical Services.
Responsibilities
- Provides basic nursing care for assigned group of patients.
- Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
- Other related duties as assigned.
