About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Nursing Assistant/PCT for their Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital in Lakeway, TX. This role offers flexible scheduling options, with available shifts including nights (7p - 7a). The position involves assisting patients in their rehabilitation process by obtaining vital signs, aiding with daily activities, responding to call lights, reporting observations, and reinforcing therapy techniques. Nursing Assistants play a crucial role in encouraging and supporting patients throughout their recovery journey.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
Nice To Haves
- Hospital experience preferred.
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Obtaining vital signs
- Help the patient with daily activities
- Promptly answering call lights
- Reporting any issues or progress observed
- Reinforcing rehab techniques as assigned by the therapy team
- Encourage and support patients through the recovery process
- Gently guide them to reach their goals
Benefits
- $22.00 an hour + shift difs for Nights and Weekends
