The Nursing Assistant provides personal nursing care to patients under the direction of a licensed registered nurse (RN), performing tasks related to activities of daily living, including self-care needs, and reporting patient status and concerns to the RN.

Requirements

Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) Health Care Provider certification
All associates receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable.

Nice To Haves

High School Education/GED or equivalent
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Phlebotomy Certification
Audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP

Responsibilities

Performs tasks associated with activities of daily living, including assisting with nutrition and hydration, elimination, personal care, positioning devices, restraints and restorative care.
Takes vital signs including, pulse and blood pressure.
Helps patients with their basic needs, i.e., bathing, dressing and feeding.
Performs routine assigned tasks and reports patients' status and concerns to the RN.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
