The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the patient during the scheduled work period. The NA provides patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This position is for 12-hour night shifts with a +$2.50/hr straight night differential. Every 3rd weekend is required. There are incentivized pay options for any picked up shifts. This is a fast-paced job with a focus on teamwork. The role involves treating neuro medical and neurosurgery patients, as well as a mix of a variety of general Med-Surg patients.
