About The Position

We’re hiring a Nursing Assistant in Training (NAIT) for individuals who are passionate about helping others and ready to launch a rewarding career in healthcare—no CNA experience required! This role offers paid, hands-on training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), on-the-job experience with a supportive nursing team, and the opportunity for continued employment after certification. It's a chance to make a real difference in residents’ lives.

Requirements

• Interest in becoming a CNA
• Willing to go to, and graduate from a CNA program
• Willingness to complete training and certification
• Background check clearance required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Within 120 days of employment, completes a state-approved nursing assistant training program & become certified
• Complete 16 hours of classroom education then complete skills checks for clinical areas for which job expectations include

Nice To Haves

• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Learn basic nursing and resident care skills
• Assist residents with daily activities under supervision
• Support nursing staff and observe quality care practices
• Uphold resident dignity, safety, and respect at all times
