About The Position

As a Nursing Assistant in the Multisystem PCU at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC), you will perform patient care under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse. You will deliver exceptional care in a fast-paced, acute care environment, managing a diverse range of conditions, including Cardiac, Respiratory, Neuro, Renal, GI, and Post-Op patients. This role is in a 40-bed unit with round-the-clock operations, and you will benefit from robust support through corporate and unit-based educational opportunities.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
One (1) year of nursing assistant work experience within the past five years may substitute for completion of one of the following training requirements: Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Assistant Program, State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant certification, State of Florida Licensed Practical Nurse, Medical Corpsman, Emergency Medical Technician, or Paramedic, Medical personnel licensed outside the United States.

Nice To Haves

One (1) year of experience within the past five years in a relevant healthcare setting preferred.
No experience required for graduates of an approved school of nursing or other listed training.
