About The Position
Shorewood Landing is seeking a Part-Time Nursing Assistant (Caregiver / CNA / HHA / Resident Assistant / NAR / Home Health Aide) to join their team. Shorewood Landing is a senior living community offering Assisted Living and Assisted Living with Memory Care. The community is located in Shorewood, Minnesota, near Minnetonka and Excelsior. At Shorewood Landing, the focus is on enriching the lives and touching the hearts of older adults. Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS) is a faith-based nonprofit organization that values its Christian Ministry values and aims to reflect the love of God in its service. Hiring individuals who support the community and culture is as important as hiring those with the necessary skills.
Requirements
- Demonstrated competencies in person-directed, elder/resident-directed practice, home building, critical thinking, teamwork, self leadership, and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Demonstrated compatibility with the PHS mission and operating philosophies.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiving experience helpful but not required for Assisted Living.
Responsibilities
- Provision of high-quality personal care and services to residents to support the Personally Designed Living choices of residents, while maintaining consistency with regulations and established best practices.
