Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Successful completion of an approved Nursing Assistant course preferred.
- Completion of a healthcare vocational program preferred.
- Experience in a hospital or a similar facility preferred.
- Maintenance of CPR/BLS.
Responsibilities
- Make observational rounds as directed by the professional nurse
- Observe and assist patients under the direction of the professional nurse
- Assist in maintaining a safe, orderly, clean and comfortable environment for patients, staff and visitors
- Assist with selected procedures, simple treatments, and activities of daily living under the direction of the professional nurse.
