Provide compassionate patient focus and perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Improve patient experience and maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment. Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration, and blood pressure. Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care. This is a full-time evening shift position covering the hours of 3:00pm – 11:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital in Bronxville; right across from the Metro North Station. Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Requirements

  • One year in acute care setting preferred or certified long term care Nursing Assistant
  • Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association (BLS)
  • Previous Nurse’s aide experience in a hospital setting or certification from an approved accredited Nurse Aid training program or currently enrolled in a BSN program for nursing, at the junior year level or had completed at least one clinical practicum
