About The Position

Care for our community, and your career. This position requires the ability to document on medical records and patient care forms, understand printed health-related material, and write legibly to accurately document the type of care given. The role also involves communicating information to supervisors and co-workers, and familiarity with equipment used for patient care, vital signs, and documentation. The ability to work effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion, and diplomacy, is essential. The position requires the ability to work under stress and complete duties with potential numerous interruptions.

Requirements

• Ability to document on medical records and patient care forms.
• Ability to understand printed health related material.
• Must be able to write legibly and be able to document, accurately, type of care given.
• Must be able to communicate information to supervisor and co-workers.
• Must be familiar with equipment used to move patients, take vital signs and document.
• Ability to understand printed health related material.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• High school level of knowledge.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience or graduated from a Nursing Assistant program preferred.
• One year or more experience as a Nurse Assistant preferable.
• Computer experience preferred.
