About The Position

Under the direction/supervision of an RN, provides basic nursing care for assigned group of patients. This role may qualify for a sign-on bonus. The Nursing Assistant will provide essential assistance and comfort to patients, ensuring they receive the best possible experience during their healthcare journey. The position requires completing established competencies for the role within a designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Clinically competent nursing staff.
  • Clinically competent in maternity care.
  • Clinically competent staff in pediatric and high-risk adult care.
  • Clinically competent staff provides care to patients from neonate through age of eighteen.
  • Clinically competent staff cares for toddlers, beginning age 24 months, through adult.
  • Clinically competent nursing staff cares for adult patients and family with holistic approach to emotional problems.
  • Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.

Responsibilities

  • Provides basic nursing care for assigned group of patients under the direction/supervision of an RN.
  • Cares for patients from age 15 years to maturity in General Nursing Units.
  • Cares for patients from age 15 years through adult with high risk conditions in Special Care Areas.
  • Provides care for patients who have a pregnancy related condition in Maternal Child Units: Labor and Delivery.
  • Provides care for newborn until discharge status in Nursery.
  • Provides care to patients from neonate through age of eighteen in Pediatric units.
  • Cares for toddlers, beginning age 24 months, through adult in the GI Lab Unit.
  • Cares for adult patients and family with holistic approach to emotional problems in Chemical Dependent Unit and Psychiatric Unit.
  • Provides care to presenting patients of all ages in the Emergency Unit, including pediatric and high-risk adult care.
  • Provides care to patients from neonate to geriatric in Surgical Services.
  • Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
