About The Position

Baptist Health Princeton Hospital is seeking a Full Time Nursing Assistant for the Emergency Department. This position works the Night Shift from 7p-7a.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must obtain BLS/Healthcare Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• 1 year of patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, mobility, nutrition, hydration, and elimination.
• Obtains, documents, and reports vital signs, intake/output, and changes in patient condition to the RN and healthcare team.
• Supports patient admissions, transfers, discharges, hourly rounding, and routine patient care activities.
• Maintains a safe, clean, organized environment while protecting patient privacy, rights, confidentiality, and following infection prevention practices.
• Provides exceptional customer service to patients, families, visitors, and team members while responding promptly to call lights and requests.
• Transports patients, equipment, supplies, medications (as permitted), blood products, and other items throughout the facility.
• Complies with Orlando Health policies, regulatory standards, mandatory training, performance improvement initiatives, and unit-specific competencies.
• Delivers age-appropriate, compassionate care while demonstrating effective communication, teamwork, professionalism, and efficient use of time and resources.
