As a Nursing Assistant / CNA, you will work directly with people needing assistance, including those with intellectual or developmental disabilities or other complex medical needs, across 15 states. The role involves providing hands-on care, assisting with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, transportation, housekeeping, and laundry, all while promoting independence. You will also utilize your skills for healthcare tasks like monitoring overall health, assisting with transfers, and contributing to the development, implementation, and evaluation of individual medical care and programming. A key aspect of the position is creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that supports individuals in achieving their personal goals, along with providing supervision, positive reinforcement, and guidance.
