About The Position
Our Nursing Assistant Training Course is designed for individuals who are passionate about pursuing a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Long-Term Care industry. At Marquis Companies, we offer comprehensive training for people committed to delivering compassionate care to seniors. As a student in our training course, you will gain the knowledge, skills, and certification required to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The course prepares you to take the State of California Competency Exam. This fast-paced program includes classroom instruction to build your foundational knowledge, lab setting simulations to develop hands-on skills, and clinical practice in our facilities, working directly with our residents. The course runs Monday through Friday for approximately 5 weeks.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Legal documentation to establish your identity and eligibility for employment in the U.S.
- Willing to undergo a criminal background check and employment reference check.
- Professional, attentive, and ready to participate.
- Able to dedicate 2-3 hours of studying per night.
- Capable of lifting 40 pounds.
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehending English.
