About The Position

The NA-C supports the patient care cycle by providing compassionate patient-centered quality care to Coulee Medical Center patients and family members. This full-time, day-shift position performs a variety of patient care tasks under the direction of the DNS. These tasks include but are not limited to vital signs, feeding, bathing, assisting with bathroom needs, ambulation, and documentation. Concurrently this position works as an advocate for quality and patient safety by thoroughly documenting the patient visit in a manner consistent with current standards of care. The NA-C is expected to keep up-to-date on new developments in their field; while working towards attaining the goal of meeting the patients physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in a dignified manner consistent with the Mission and Vision of Coulee Medical Center.

Requirements

Valid Washington State NA-C License

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate patient-centered quality care to Coulee Medical Center patients and family members.
Perform a variety of patient care tasks under the direction of the DNS.
Take vital signs.
Assist with feeding.
Assist with bathing.
Assist with bathroom needs.
Assist with ambulation.
Document patient care.
Act as an advocate for quality and patient safety by thoroughly documenting the patient visit in a manner consistent with current standards of care.
Keep up-to-date on new developments in their field.
Work towards meeting the patients physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in a dignified manner consistent with the Mission and Vision of Coulee Medical Center.
