About The Position
The Wellington at North Bend Crossing, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Nursing Aide. This premier retirement community in Cincinnati, Ohio, provides quality care to residents in an Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care community. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, medication, treatments, and promoting self-care and independence. The community utilizes cutting-edge technology such as SafelyYou (AI fall detection), Advanced EHR Technologies, Sage (for call light response), and Microsoft Power BI to enhance resident care and streamline staff tasks.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED preferred.
- Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.
Responsibilities
- Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence
- Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed
- Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards
- May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis
- Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times
